Additionally, the line has signed an agreement to include top-of-the-line Callaway metal woods and irons as part of its equipment rental packages.

Associations : Everything from the Masters to clubmakers - golf association Web sites - Brief Article - Directory

The keepers of the game also keep Web sites, most of them plenty robust. Have a question on the rules? Want to know the Masters pairings? Need the U.S. Open qualifying sites? The answers are "in site." The biggies:

www.lpga.com: Similar to pgatour.com, this official Ladies' Professional Golf Association site is quite text-heavy but offers plenty of informative articles, news delivered by ticker-tape format, and all the latest LPGA Tour standings. Special sections devoted to the LPGA's 50th anniversary are a good read.

www.masters.org: The Masters site mirrors the tournament: beautiful, buttoned-down, full of tradition. During Masters week, it provides pairings, tee times, instant scoring. But check out hole-by-hole descriptions, tournament and course history anytime. Neat videos, including a trip down Magnolia Lane.

www.ngf.org (National Golf Foundation): A dozen sections can be accessed by nonmembers to learn more about this 65-year-old organization.

www.pga.com: The PGA of America's official site includes news, history and, of course, a learning center, since the PGA is the association of teaching professionals. Check out instruction videos by PGA members and, during the PGA Championship and Ryder Cup, real-time scoring.

The Links Every Golfer Needs - web sites with golf equipment information - Brief Article

The world of Internet shopping can be crowded and confusing, and golf enthusiasts would much rather spend some quality time with their putters than with their computers. With these targeted, "one-stop-shopping" Web sites, recreational golfers, as well as owners and operators, will be able to spend more time on the green and less time meandering through cyberspace.

GOLFEXTRA.com is the Internet's golf superstore. Offering everything from clubs to collectibles, from training aids to practice products, GOLF EXTRA.com is full of ideas for birthday gifts or tournament prizes at prices below retail.
OnTee.com provides course owners and operators a complete range of services, including a private golf media network, a worldwide family of Web sites, a multi-channel tee-time reservation system, a suite of course management software products, and a state-of-the-art messaging system to communicate these offerings to golfers. OnTee.com's comprehensive approach also means providing course owners with a built-in multimedia marketing and promotional program for less than the cost of a local newspaper ad.

Golfbtb.com focuses on what many believe to be the most important element of the game of golf--mental management. Proudly amateur in design, this site offers an eclectic source of golf links, audiotapes, and advice, providing an entertaining way to search for a cure for mental hiccups and encouraging you to "be the ball."
